Nail Care & Maintenance

To maintain the quality and longevity of your nail treatment, follow these care tips:

First 24 Hours:

  • Avoid hot showers, baths, pools, and prolonged water exposure —Gel Polish is at its weakest
  • Always wear gloves when cleaning or gardening.
  • Avoid using nails as tools to prevent lifting or breakage.

Long Term Care

  • Apply cuticle oil daily (available at Luxurious Spa & Nails) to keep nails strong and hydrated.
  • Schedule regular maintenance every 2-3 weeks—Gel Polish lasts approximately 14 days
  • Never pick or peel off Gel Polish, as this can damage natural nails.
  • Protect nails from direct sunlight & tanning beds—UV exposure may cause discoloration.
  • Moisturize hands and feet regularly to maintain healthy skin and nails.
  • Be gentle with nail enhancements—avoid impact or pressure (e.g., opening cans, peeling stickers).
  • Report any signs of infection (redness, swelling, discomfort) to a professional immediately.

Salon Policies

Guarantee & Policies

We offer a 5-day guarantee on treatments and products. This guarantee is void if:

  • Nails are serviced elsewhere after treatment.
  • Harsh chemicals are used without gloves.
  • Nails are bitten, picked, or intentionally damaged.
  • Non-recommended products are used for maintenance.
  • Medical advice is neglected.
  • Aftercare instructions are not followed.

Complaints

Must be reported in person within 3 working days or emailed to complaints@luxurious.nz.

Refunds & Conduct

  • No refunds on services or products.
  • If unsatisfied, contact us within 72 hours — a 30-minute complimentary touch-up may be provided if the issue is due to application or product.
  • Customers are expected to behave respectfully.
  • Repeated misconduct may result in refusal of service.
